Straw-bale Houses are becoming increasing popular in west and south-west areas. This kind of constructions can offer an alternatives to conventional building. There are number of methods when constructing the straw-bale houses, depend on sizes and designs. Usually, the construction begins with footing and bales. Bales of straw have a good amount of strength, that will support for height of the roof.The U.S. Department of energy quotes shows this types of straw-bale houses. So Why build a straw-bale houses? The reason is, high efficiency, cheaper, Low estimation, and construction cost can be reduced.
