John Muir

Located in Marinez, it was John Muir's final house, a period that encompassed his rise in National prominence. His family moved into the home in 1890, and he lived there until his death in 1914.

Presently managed by the National Park Service, it is open to visitors Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., year round.
